Information about our payment & shipping conditions

Terms of payment

1. Prepayment
   If you want to pay your ordered items by prepayment, you will receive an advance invoice by e-mail. On the basis of this invoice you can instruct the amount for payment. You will find our bank details on our invoice or listed here again:

   After receipt of your payment and availability of the goods, they will be shipped to you immediately. You will receive a shipping notification by e-mail.
2. Sofortüberweisung
   Sofortüberweisung is the free, TÜV-certified payment service of Payment Network AG. Your advantages: no additional registration, automatic debit from your online bank account with the highest security standards. With this payment method, your order is released for shipment after payment has been completed.
3. PayPal
   After placing your order you will be automatically redirected to PayPal. Please log in to your PayPal account here, check the payment details and confirm the amount. With completed PayPal payments, your order is thus released for shipment.
4. Sepa-Basis direct debit/bank collection (3% discount)
   If you would like to use this payment method, we need a Sepa direct debit mandate from you, which you please sign and send to us by mail so that we can process your order. You can find the form as a download file in the checkout area or under Downloads. If we already have a mandate from you, you do not need to fill out the form. If your bank details change, we will also need a new mandate. You enter your account data via a secure SSL connection. For new customers, the invoice amount will be debited before the goods are shipped.
5. Invoice
   When paying on account, you will receive a detailed invoice from us, which will be enclosed with your order. This is due for payment immediately and without deduction. This payment option is currently only available for domestic customers.

The provider reserves the right to exclude certain payment methods in individual cases.
Invoices issued by the provider are due for payment immediately.
When paying by invoice, the invoice amount is due for payment within 14 days.

You will receive an invoice with VAT.

Shipping costs within Germany - shipping by Deutsche Post (DHL)

• Pure book shipments are free of shipping costs!
• For each order we charge a flat shipping fee of: 6,95 Euro with DHL
• Below an order value of 19,90 Euro we charge a minimum quantity surcharge of 5,00 Euro.
• From an order value of 75,00 Euro the shipping costs are completely omitted.
• Shipping costs include the statutory VAT of 19%.

Shipping costs international

For deliveries outside Germany, we charge shipping costs as follows, regardless of the order value:

• Zone 1: 16,90 Euro
  Belgium, Netherlands (except islands and overseas territories), Luxembourg, Austria, Denmark (except islands, Greenland and Faroe Islands), Czech Republic
• Zone 2: 21,00 Euro
  France (except islands and overseas territories), Great Britain (except Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland, islands), Monaco
• Zone 3: 27,50 Euro
  Poland, Slovakia, Italy (except islands, Campione d'Italia and Livigno), Slovenia, Hungary, Sweden (except islands), Ireland (except islands), Spain (except islands, Ceuta and Melilla), Portugal (except Azores and Madeira)
• Zone 4: 36,90 Euro
  Switzerland: Please note the applicable customs duties (see last section)
• Zone 5: 49,90 Euro
  Norway (except islands, Jan Mayen and Spitzbergen): Please note the applicable customs duties (see last section).

We will determine other shipping zones on request.

Duties and taxes

If the delivery is made to a non-EU country, further customs duties, taxes or fees may have to be paid by the customer.However, you do not pay to acufactum, but to the customs or tax authorities responsible there. The customer is recommended to ask the customs or tax authorities for details before placing the order.
